Greta and Josep started to explore the world of scenographic portraiture at La Warhol, an agricultural warehouse located on the outskirts of Tivenys (Catalunya, Spain) that they converted into their creative studio. Their creations resulted in dreamlike and symbolic worlds representing the authors' shedding skin, a process of personal and collective transformation as a couple. In their photographs, they wanted to explore issues they had been concerned about throughout their lives, such as the conflict of powers, the limits of consciousness, the uncertainty that the global pandemic had triggered, the liberating but suffocating nature of sex, the determinism of family and the acceptance of death.&nbsp; On February 27, 2021, they inaugurated "La Muda" at the Lo Pati Art Center after two years of production. In this exhibition: photography, artistic installation, and scenography coexisted in the same space. «Si somos seres en un cambio constante, ¿cómo hacer memoria de lo vivido? ¿Quién se acordaría de qué? ¿De cuándo? ¿Cuándo qué? ¿Cómo saber quién es uno, en todo este barullo de dejar de ser constantemente? Panta Rei… sí, mira, Heráclito, vete un poco a la mierda... Necesitamos una tregua, un respiro, algún asidero para poder parar toda esta agua que no dejamos de ser. Hacer marcas a nuestro paso, ¿pero dónde? Esa es la pregunta... Siempre nos contentamos con lo primero que pillamos, trabajamos con lo que hay, y lo que hay y lo que encontramos más a mano, en la mano precisamente, es la piel. Cicatrices: lunares adoptados, nacidos por la coreografía entre la distancia y los objetos. Los hechos se nos graban en la capa más superficial, sí, en la piel, pero penetran a través de las viscosidades desconocidas de nuestro interior hasta el núcleo, hasta el magma enrojecido de la esencia, del ser. Porque mudamos la piel, pero el alma se queda, cada vez menos escondida. A cada herida, a cada flash grabado a fuego en la memoria, se deshace una capa y queda su luz un poco menos velada. La verdad, como la vida, siempre está ahí, lista para responder si te atreves a preguntarle. Un juego de sombras es el camino hacia la esencia. Y cada capa que nos quitamos, cada piel que mudamos es una mentira menos. Nos aligeramos con el cambio, aunque a veces duela arrancarse mentiras a tirones. Crecer debe ser eso: regarnos con el mar de lágrimas al tirar de lo que sobra. ¿A ti cuántas te sobran? ¿Cuántas mentiras te sobran? ¿Qué debes mudar para poder quedarte quieto, al fin, en tu verdad y mirarle (o mirarte) a los ojos? … Ojalá fuera tan fácil, ojalá pudiéramos mudar a nuestra elección, pero la piel se nos arranca con el roce, con el contacto con lo otro, con el otro. El roce hace el cariño, porque va desgastando las mentiras, los lugares comunes, los prejuicios, los tópicos… piel atópica nos nace de tanto roce con los otros, piel sensible y frágil. Sin-cera, natural y a pelo. Así nos quedamos después de mudar juntos, piel de recién nacidos, de recién paridos, en este caso. Todas las mentiras que Greta y Piñol se han quitado de encima en este tiempo, han alumbrado una verdad como un templo: ahora son un poco más ellos.
